NTC News 24, a subsidiary of NTC News Media Limited, is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Divisional Representative to join our news network. The ideal candidate will represent the channel at the divisional level, ensuring comprehensive coverage of local news, events, and issues. This role requires strong reporting skills and a passion for journalism, combined with the ability to work independently to gather news from diverse sources.

Job Responsibility
- Serve as the primary representative of NTC News 24 in your assigned division, providing regular news updates, reports, and coverage.
- Collect, research, and verify news stories and local events, ensuring factual accuracy and timely reporting.
- Conduct interviews with local authorities, community leaders, and eyewitnesses to gather firsthand information.
- Collaborate with the central newsroom to share insights and breaking news stories.
- Attend press conferences, community meetings, and other events to provide on-the-ground coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local sources to gather exclusive information and insights.
- Deliver live reports and participate in news broadcasts when necessary.
- Ensure all reports align with the company’s editorial guidelines and standards.

Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Additional certification or training in reporting, media studies, or communication is a plus.

Experience Requirement
- 2+ years of experience in journalism, reporting, or a similar role, preferably in local news.
- Demonstrated experience in covering local news stories and events.
- A portfolio or samples of published news reports is required.

Additional Requirement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
- Good understanding of local issues and current affairs in the division.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in journalism, such as news apps, social media, and live reporting software.
- Proficiency in both English and Bengali.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, to cover breaking news.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
