Computer Operator

Job Context

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator to support our IT team by performing essential data management, system monitoring, and operational tasks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in computer operations and capable of working efficiently under minimal supervision.
Job Responsibility
Monitor and maintain computer systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Perform regular data entry and ensure accuracy in records.
Troubleshoot and resolve any basic hardware or software issues.
Maintain logs of system operations, errors, and actions taken.
Assist in running regular system backups and maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with the IT team for upgrades and troubleshooting.
Perform routine checks on system health and address issues promptly.
Adhere to company policies and security protocols.

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role.

Proficiency in using various computer systems and software (MS Office, data entry tools, etc.).

Basic knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.

Familiarity with running system backups and monitoring system health is preferred.
